👍 Pros

Amazon Prime Video has many pros, which are mentioned below

It is offering one of the affordable streaming packages starting from just $8.99/month, which will include live sporting events, movies, live TV shows, and premium content to fulfil needs of a wide range of users.

Amazon Prime Video’s Movies and TV Shows

Although movies library is not as large as Netflix, it is constantly trying to improve its content to attract a large audience.

Live Sports on Prime Video

In addition to the on-demand content, Amazon Prime Video also streams Thursday Night Football games, making it an excellent option for all football lovers. Amazon Prime Video’s main focus is now sporting events, which is why it also started to broadcast regular-season WNBA games and the Commissioner’s Cup Championship Game.

4K, Ultra HD, and HDR streaming

Amazon Prime offers excellent streaming quality in 4K, Ultra HD, and HDR for most of the supported devices, enhancing the cinematic experience for users.

You can add more channels by using add-on features, but you have to pay an additional fee for this.

Documentaries on Amazon Prime Video

With Amazon Prime Video, you can enjoy famous documentaries on different topics, including Generation Wealth, Gimme Danger, One Child Nation, Time, and many others.

Multiple Payment Options

Amazon Prime Video offers multiple payment options to make the payment simpler, including credit card, PayPal, Amazon Pay, and cryptocurrency.

Excellent Customer support

They are offering one of the amazing customer support services to facilitate the customers, addressing queries and issues of the clients related to the service.

CONS

Amazon Prime Video offers hundreds of movies and TV shows, but the quantity is less compared to the competitors, especially if we compare it with other IPTV service providers.

Most of the content provided on Amazon Prime Video is third-party, and it continues to lose this content.

In the basic plan, there will be ads during streaming, and in order to get ad free plan, you have to pay an extra fee for that purpose.

Content library is not as vast as compared to competitor like Hulu and Netflix, which offers more number of movies compared to the Amazon library.

Final Verdict

Amazon Prime is an excellent option for live sports lovers and those wanting a broad mix of movies and originals. But it is not a recommended option for those looking for a vast range of movies/series, and for those, Hulu and Netflix are recommended options. Amazon Prime Video is available on every major platform, and it allows users to add movies that are not part of it by making a payment.
